The recording sessions were done at the famous Beatles studio, Abbey Road. The recording went very well and during this time the group's record company arranged for a few concerts in Germany. When the album was finished the group flew to Germany to perform in several cities. This recording of their concert in Hannover, Germany is the earliest full concert recording of Ladysmith Black Mambazo outside of South Africa. It was the beginning of over 35 years of international concert touring. During this concert the group performs many early Mambazo songs that they have not performed since. They even perform a song in German. This is truly a very unique Ladysmith Black Mambazo concert experience. We know you will enjoy it.
